Sam

Miss Sam moved to the Joplin area in 2021 with her husband and three children. She is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania where she danced at Back Mountain Dance Studio from the age of 4 to 19 with a focus on tap. Some of her fondest memories growing up are weekends at dance competitions and participating in chorus, band, and theater at school.

Sam received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Wilkes University and spent 8 years in the army after college as a logistics officer traveling the world and jumping out of airplanes.

Sam now has two daughters that dance at KDS and love it! She is excited to join the KDS team! It is a joy to encourage kids to love dance and let them know that they can do hard things!
