Lyrical/Contemporary

Lyrical is a slow, expressive type of dance that incorporates ballet technique. This dance style’s main goal is to interpret the lyrics of the song through movement. Contemporary dance is a dance style that rejects many of the strict rules of classical ballet but while maintaining a ballet base, while focusing on the expression of inner feelings, emphasizing creativity in choreography and performance. Our lyrical/contemporary classes are for both classical and competitive dancers.
