Dance Instructor

Jessica moved to the area in July of 2012 to pursue a career in broadcast Meteorology. She is originally from Florida where she received an Associate of Science in Dance from Florida School of the Arts. From there, she moved to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. While at USC, she was the Assistant Artistic Director of the Repertory Dance Company under the School of Theatre for 2 years. She also took many classes at both The Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex while living in LA.

Miss Jessica moved back to Florida after graduation and began teaching dance at a studio in St. Petersburg, FL. She then decided to return to college to pursue a 2nd Bachelor’s Degree in Meteorology from Florida State University in Tallahassee. She was lucky enough to find an outstanding studio to teach at in Tallahassee during her return to school. She graduated in April 2012 and was hired here in Joplin!

She is excited to still find dance in her life while in Joplin. When not teaching at KDS, you can find her on your favorite ABC local affiliate every weeknight at 10pm reporting the news! We are fortunate to have Miss Jessica and her talent teaching at KDS!
