Miss Rebecca became a class assistant at the age of 11 and from then on she knew she wanted to be a dance teacher. Rebecca continued her dance training in college and expanded her knowledge of dance to include modern, creative movement, dance improvisation and dance history. While in college she was a member of dance companies, participated in theatre productions and was involved with the show choir. Miss Rebecca is now a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and has passed her Teacher’s Certification for grades I – IV.
She received her Associates of Arts in Dance from Cottey College in May of 2011 and in May of 2013 she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Dance from Missouri Valley College. Miss Rebecca is very excited to be back at KDS and sharing her love and knowledge of dance with our students. Miss Rebecca teaches classes for ages ranging from 2 – 22 and is a beloved teacher by all. Her extensive dance knowledge and sweet spirit is a blessing to our KDS family.
